Empowered Women, Impacting the World: A Journey of Faith, Fellowship, and Missions

At Arbor Christian Fellowship, our Women's Ministry is a vibrant and welcoming community where women of all ages come together to grow in faith, fellowship, and mission. One of the highlights of our ministry is our seasonal teas – Spring, Summer, and Christmas – which provide an opportunity for women to gather, connect, and engage in meaningful conversation while supporting the work of missions.

These teas feature delicious savory teas, dainty tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, homemade desserts, and uplifting conversation. They are a wonderful time for women to bond across generations, pray for missionaries, and learn more about God’s work around the world. Each tea includes a message to encourage women in their faith, as well as soul-filling, cup-filling worship through live music. This time of worship enriches our hearts, refuels our spirits, and reminds us of the unchanging truth of God’s love.

A key focus of our Women's Ministry is our partnership with Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU), an auxiliary of the Southern Baptist Convention. Since its inception in 1888, WMU has been a driving force in mobilizing believers to pray for and raise funds for missions. Through efforts like the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, WMU has helped raise over $7.5 billion to support missionaries and missions around the globe.

WMU’s commitment to making disciples who live on mission is reflected in our teas, where we learn more about missions discipleship, leadership development, and compassion ministries. Through these events, we are inspired to pray, give, and actively engage in missions, making an impact both locally and globally.

We invite all women to join us in this journey of faith, as we grow together, pray together, worship together, and serve together, making a difference in the lives of missionaries and the world.
