A Heartfelt Celebration at Arbor Christian Fellowship’s Valentine’s Dinner

Arbor Christian Fellowship hosted a truly memorable Valentine’s Dinner last night, where love, joy, and community filled the air. It was a beautiful evening that combined delicious cuisine, stunning decorations, and heartwarming fellowship, all in celebration of God’s infinite love for us and His goodness and grace.

Guests were welcomed into a warm, inviting atmosphere, where the sweet sounds of Greg Wideen’s Sinatra-like musical stylings set the perfect tone for the evening. As they mingled, they enjoyed a delightful spread of fresh fruit, crisp crudités, and gourmet salads, each bite as satisfying as the last. The soft melodies created the perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations among old friends and new.

One of the evening’s most delightful moments was the performance by the beloved Cousins, affectionately known by some as the "Arbor Angels." Their joyful singing, which blended scripture with cheerful lyrics, brought smiles to the faces of everyone present.

Guests had the chance to participate in a raffle and auction hosted by Elizabeth Johnson, featuring custom art pieces and the famous strawberry pies made by Deacon Liles Cobb. While the bidding was lighthearted, the funds raised contributed toward a meaningful cause, with the proceeds benefiting the Sanctuary’s new carpet fund. It was a reminder of how our community comes together to support the church space where we gather to worship and grow in faith.

Deacon Victor Veturis added a fun, jovial moment to the evening by leading a lively exercise in which attendees celebrated the longest-lasting Valentines and the youngest couple in the room. It was a beautiful way to honor the love that has stood the test of time, with the added reminder that true love, with Christ at the center, never goes out of style.

Pastor Jonathan concluded the evening with a powerful mini-message about God’s love for us. He reminded everyone that no matter the love we experience here on Earth—whether deep, passionate, or fleeting—it can never compare to the boundless love God has for each of us. It was a perfect way to wrap up an evening of joy, fellowship, and reflection on the true meaning of love.

The Valentine’s Dinner at Arbor Christian Fellowship was an evening full of laughter, connection, and celebration, with hearts full of gratitude for the love and grace that God continually pours into our lives. We look forward with anticipation to how God will continue to guide us and provide for our church family. What a beautiful, memorable night!
